Connect your AI assistant to your Facebook Pages

Last checked 1 November 2026

AutomatePage has an MCP connector, so ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity or another assistant can read the Content radar and prepare posts for your Facebook Pages. Connecting one is optional, and it needs a plan with assistant access.

The connector address

Every assistant uses this same address, and you sign in with your AutomatePage account. Assistants change their menus often, so the steps below may look a little different on your screen.

https://automatepage.com/api/mcp

Connect Claude

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Press Add, choose Add custom connector, and paste the address. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner adds it for the organization.

Connect ChatGPT

Open Plugins, press the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server. Enter a name, paste the address and choose OAuth. OpenAI limits custom MCP servers to some ChatGPT plans, and its help pages list which ones.

Connect Grok

Go to grok.com/connectors, press New Connector, choose Custom and paste the address.

Connect Perplexity

Open Plugins, or Customize and then Connectors. Choose Add custom, then Add MCP connector, then Remote. Paste the address, choose OAuth and Streamable HTTP, then press the new card to sign in.

Connect Claude Code

Run this in a terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code, choose automatepage and sign in with your AutomatePage account.

claude mcp add --transport http automatepage https://automatepage.com/api/mcp

Connect Codex

Run these two commands in a terminal, then sign in when your browser opens.

codex mcp add automatepage --url https://automatepage.com/api/mcp
codex mcp login automatepage --oauth-client-registration dcr --scopes workspace:read, pages:read, calendar:read, drafts:write, posts:schedule

What an assistant can read

  • The Content radar across all topics, with the same filters you have on the website
  • Your connected Pages and their results
  • Your calendar, drafts, Buckets, saved ideas and saved feeds

What it can do

By default it can only save drafts. You approve each draft on the website before it can go out. On the connection screen, a workspace owner can tick a box to allow automated scheduling for that one assistant. It can then schedule text, link, photo and carousel posts, add first comments, move or cancel scheduled posts and manage Buckets.

You can disconnect an assistant at any time in Settings. Posts already scheduled stay scheduled until you cancel them, and Buckets and posting times it set keep running until you change them. The Terms and the Privacy Policy have the details.

What it can't do

  • Publish a post right away. Posts are scheduled ahead, so you have time to cancel.
  • Upload video or Reel files. Add those on the website.
  • Connect or remove Pages, change your plan or manage your team.
  • Schedule more than 200 posts a day for one workspace.

Things to ask it

  • What did best in my topic in the last 24 hours?
  • Which type of post is working in Gardening this week?
  • Save this post as an idea.
  • Schedule this post to my Page tomorrow at 9 am, with a first comment.

Prices and plans are on the Trend Scheduler page.
